In the world these days Christian marriages are under harm like never before. The divorce rate of Christians has no difference than that of those who do not claim Christ. This is stunning to many since the Scripture states that God hates putting away your other half. Yet we see the divorce rate among Christian marriages to be in such lofty numbers. The difference between the marriages of Christians and others needs to be distinguished. That discrepancy is the reality that Christian marriage advice comes from the Scripture while other marriage advice comes from physiologists that can or can not lean on the word of God. The only authentic difference you will ever find in a Christian marriage is that Christians are intended to follow what the Bible states. The distressing truth however is that Christians often do not follow what the Bible states. This is due to a number of things. The first dilemma we must address is the actual salvation of each spouse. The Bible says that not everybody who calls on God is a Christian. Cause of this we could know that numerous marriages that claim to have Christian beliefs are not in fact practicing Christians at all. A true Christian is going to have a love for the word of God. That means they not simply study the Scripture but they also put it into practice. This alone could end all divorces in Christian marriages. The merely advice I give you is to follow the Christian marriage advice in the Bible. If you do that your marriage will on no account fall. I can say that since the bible says that love never fails. So with us now accepting that not everyone who says they are a Christian is we need to gaze at another region. It takes being in agreement to walk together down the same road. The Bible makes it clear that we are not to be unequally yoked. That means one of us could not go in one route while the other goes another way. In the case of one Christian yoked to someone who is not a Christian the Bible does have a bit to declare. The first thing it says is that you are not to try to find a way out. Numerous people have used this unequal yoke thing as an justification to separation but the Bible makes it clear that you should not do so. As an alternative you should strive to keep peace as finest you may. Let me be unmistakable also that you are not to follow your spouse rather than God. That means if one partner wants to do something that is a sin you do not want to join them. If in the end this causes your other half to call for a separation then you are free from your vows…but you are not to seek out being free. One other region of being unequally yoked that is often unnoticed is the roles in Christian marriages. You may not have two leaders. It is merely natural that at some time you will differ with each other. This causes many fights in the homes of those who are not Christians and in homes of Christians alike. It should not be so in your home though. This is why God has made the roles of marriage to be a husband as the leader. Women could often feel as if their man is not taking up that role as he should but it is not their place to take that role on themselves. This is something the Scripture teaches that will also since peace in your Christian marriage.
